The hybrid cash register and cash system shall be backed up (hereinafter referred to as ‘back-up data’). The back-up data shall include a set of information such that a fully operational hybrid cash register or cash system can be restored from them and the registered software submitted to the State Revenue Service with the data for which the particular back-up copy was created. The information stored in the back-up data shall be kept in its entirety on the storage medium.
- Software or a new version of software (if installed) complying with paragraph 12.2 of this Regulation. Within one week of its installation, make a single backup copy so that the backup copy can be used to restore the specific software (and the relevant versions thereof) to working order;
- Copies of databases or data corresponding to the software referred to in Sub-paragraph 12.2 of this Regulation and databases and parameter files of the registered software in accordance with the procedure specified by the user, but not less frequently than once every three months.
- Accumulated information (electronic audit trail, control data, data on events in the system - audit files);
- Software complying with Sub-paragraph 12.2 of this Regulation;
- Copies of databases or data corresponding to the software referred to in Sub-paragraph 12.2 of this Regulation and databases and parameter files of the registered programme.
- Three years;
- Energy-independent storage media located outside a cash register, hybrid cash register or cash system, including data centre servers (energy-independent storage media) in the territory of Latvia.
